Love the idea of a single carry on, but need ideas as to how to deal with packing for a cruise that includes 3 formal dinners, as well as "dressing" even for everyday evenings.

Ihave a wonderful cocktail length red beaded number that I'd love to wear, but know it isn't very versatile to be transformed for multiple wearings.

Also, curious about what the weather is like in the middle of the Atlantic ocean the first week of May. Cold?

Then, how do I deal with a week in Italy schlepping from hotel to hotel each day? Anyone know what the weather is like in Rome, Florence and Venice early May?
