I was NOT happy at all..........

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Junkyard Wars : One Thread

I have to admit that I get a kick out of watching JYW/SHC whichever you want to call it. I'm all over the idea of make it work then worry about how it looks.

The first time I caught an episode, I was wondering when Mac Gyver would show up to offer his opinion on how everything was going to work. :o)

When I tuned in last night and saw this "George" guy on there I was sorely disappointed. I kept expecting him to hold up a can of Mountain Dew at any moment and give us some catchy new slogan like "You can even DEW IT with Junk" or some such nonsense.

I do not like him, his mannerisms, or his style!

I will still watch the new season of shows and just try my best to ignore him whenever he is on camera. I will not let him be the reason for missing one of the best programs to be put on TV in a long time.

I say wait it out....... If at the end of the season he STILL SUCKS as a co host then the e-mail and letter writing should and will begin.

At that point I would urge everyone that is a fan of JYWars to send mail to the producers/production company as well as any advertisers on the program complaining about the BAD CHOICE that was made for Co host. Several times a day from several different e-mail accounts, every day. After day, after day, etc........

Until they get the idea that we the viewers (the reason sponsors PAY for advertising) are NOT going to watch again if he is still there.

IF, on the other hand, somehow he manages to pull it off and does an excellent job the rest of the season (yeah right) then we pat him on the head and tell him "Well done! Oh, and take your eyebrow studded, nipple ringed, Mountain Dew hawkin' ass, back to California or wherever you came from and shut the hell up".

But I'm like that some times when I'm not happy about someone or something.

Except the season's already been taped...he won't be getting any better!

Oh yes, it's impossible for him to improve. We all know it is an iron-clad law of physics that your performance level on the first day of a new job is your fixed and permanent performance level forevermore.

This also explains why athletes only compete once and then retire, because we all know they'll never beat their first time, right?

I agree, give George a chance to shine. If he fizzles out then dump him like a hot rock!

George,..... Geoooooorrge,...... Geoooooooorrrrrrrrrgggggggeee.

Hmmm, no George.

I think that pretty well sums up his usefulness to the show.

Good riddence.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe he can go get a job working on "Robotica" as Dweezel Zappa's personal assistant/pissboy.

You hear the sad news about poor george?

Seems that he fell into the sewer drain again whilst trying to crawl home.

Bystanders say that he was heard to say "git along my little sewer doggies"
