I tried it once before I moved to DC 2000. It was easier than with DC- 2000. I was able to convert the DV file into MPG-1 using Xing MPG encoder. And I tested it with great results. The thing is to use the Xing plugin that works with Adobe Premier to directly convert the project to VIDEOCD-MPG-1. The results were great, Using DC-2000 the trick is different. Since my PC is Windows NT. It seems that the plugin is not compatible...so I cant convert directly to MPG1. so the trick is to export the movie segment as an Uncompressed Avi file. this way it does let Xing encode MP1. the result i suppose is similar.
