Location: Pasadena, CA Company: Ticketmaster Online-Citysearch, Inc. Position: SQL Server DBA Contact: Todd Cranston-Cuebas, senior tech recruiter, 626-660-3558 tcc@citysearch.com

Join one of the web's hottest organizations! We're a leader in the industry and rated a "Top 25 Cool Company to Work For!" by Fortune Magazine. Our back end development group for ticketmaster.com is looking for a solid SQL Server DBA to assist our senior DBA in designing, developing, and implementing database solutions. Key job tasks would include:

Installation, administration, and maintenance of SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 7.0 databases.

Creating and debugging stored procedures.

Supporting data warehouse and data mart design, development, maintenance, and performance tuning.

This is your chance to cut your teeth on SQL Server 2K!

Must have:

2 years experience as a SQL Server DBA with previous experience in business logic and database architecture. We really want people who enjoy application development and database management.

Experience writing efficient SQL and using SQL Server 7.0 Replication, MS Data Transformation Services (DTS), DBArtisan from Embarcadero, and MS OLAP Services are big pluses!

Must have working knowledge of NT 4 server, Windows 2K, and workstation administration.

Oracle knowledge a plus.

That being said, if you're slightly off of this description (as an example, you're a really hot Sybase admin with gads of experience but want experience with SQL Server in a web environment), drop me a note and we can talk.

Salary: $70-85K

I would appreciate direct emails from all interested parties (tcc@citysearch.com) and any comments you might have on this job description. Look forward to hearing from you!
