well, hey, i know this is not really, exactly, a homesteading topic, but i am so proud i am about to bust !!!

Way to go OU Sooners !!!! if anyone got to watch the orange bowl championship game wednesday night, it was a great battle. i am so proud of OU for playing as a team. they did not play as if individual stars. the sum of the total was definitely greater than , well, you know the saying.

i can relate this to our country and a lot of our problems. people need to work together and not try to be selfish and self-centered.

ok i will stop pontificating now :) lol

Okay, gene....as long as everyone also gets to read: GO HUSKIES! University of WA won the Rose Bowl, by beating Purdue. For some reason, being ranked #4 made us the underdogs. Go figure. We listened to the game New Year's Day outside (temps upper 50s), while having a huge bonfire. I raked the last of the leaves from part of the ram's pen. It was so warm out that it felt like October...the bonfire, the leaf raking, and football on the radio...
