Does anyone know exactly when in 1887 or 1888 the GS&F reached Cordele, Ga?

Lee:I sent you some EMAIL responding to your question. Construction on the GS&F began in Oct 1887 beginning in Macon. It was constructed by the Macon Construction Company. I believe it reached Cordele late 1888 and opened for service in late summer 1889. Some parts of the GS&F was completed early and they ran short trains to Tifton where a wye was located with the SAL. Regrettably, I do not have an exact date, but I will research this question.
