Cream Separator

My grandmother has an old fashioned cream separator that she would like to sell. Is there a market for this and if so, how much would it be worth.

A lot will depend on the condition it is in, if she still has the service manual for it, and if there are any extra parts.

On value, a rough rule of thumb is used in good condition goes for about half the cost of new. Lehman's has a 20 gallon/hour hand- cranked moded for $525. NASCO has three different electric and one- hand-cranked brands ranging in price from $705 to $2,461, depending on gallons processed per hours.

You might consider putting it on eBay at the absolutely lowest price she would take and see what the market will bring.

I bought one a couple of months ago. The one I bought is the big heavy duty bolt to the floor kind....this thing is huge. I paid $75 for it but I think the fellow I bought it from picked it up for $50 at auction.
