I know a bit. My Mom's reg. manager of earth sheltered Tech. out of Mankato Minn. (She lives in KS) I know most of their designs are 24 X 24 foot or 28 X 28 foot modules. The homes are all earth sheltered dome types, and that even in KS my mom's has kept a constant temp of about 60 without add'l heating.

If your wanting to build your own, I can't tell you much more. If your wanting a place with a 100 year warrenty against leaks, cracks, and etc and are handy with tools, the homes are not beyond reason in price if you can finish the inside and front visual stuff under your own power. Having them make it turn key is like three times more expensive or more.

If you want more info, e-mail me and I'll get you mom's e-mail addresse, where you can get more free info more in-depth.

We're building ours, actually have been building it for four years now. We love it. (It really doesn't take that long--we're just too stubborn to hire help or borrow money.) Ours is a frame--sort of a kit for the frame, and we've done everything else.
