Old farm books online...you can read the book

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I found a really cool web site. It lists old farming books that have been scanned and stored on the site. I believe the reason this was done was some of the books were falling apart. Anyhow you can actually read the book online including the graphics. Fairly easy to navigate the site too. http://cdl.library.cornell.edu/chla/index.html

Amanda, one of those book you speak of was written by my great great grandfather, and was published in 1867.

It is shown as part of the "Making of America" series that is on line at the University of Michigan. The url for it is as follows: http://moa.umdl.umich.edu/cgi/sgml/moa-idx?notisid=AJR0652

I've given it before, and hope no one minds that I'm giving it again. Kinda proud, you know.
