Hello. I'm new to medium format. I've used Pentax 35mm for 25 years and do a lot of macrophotography. I got the 49mm lens reverse adaptor and the three set extension tubes. Both are without directions. My first problem is that the reverse adaptor which I assume should screw into a 49mm lens. The problem is that it doesn't seem to 'mate' properly; there are no threads on the outside of the adaptor to screw into a reversed 49mm lens. Did I just get a reject (without threads) or am I missing something?

My second question, since I have the extension tubes (and large Pentax macro slider for focusing) and not the helicoide tube, what tube is most recommended for my set up?
