Good morning all- I am looking for a few or many good hearts! Hope it's ok to ask and that no one gets mad, I'm just trying to do my part to help this crazy world. I am the AV (area volunteer) for our state project. I collect hand made (or store bought) items for our homeless shelter in Lincoln. This is a family homeless shelter and they take only families. Sad to say they had over 600 families served last year and she told me it would be more for 2000. I collect blankets, quilts, scarves, hats, mitten, gloves, socks, infant items and a new request from them for small toys. My daughter and I are starting again (we made a big delivery in DEC.) I would like to know if anyone would like to make/send 6" or 8" crochet or quilt squares, we will but them together and make as many twin and quilt things as we can. I would surely take completed items but thought this might be easier to ask for and get people to do. If you want more info please ask and I'l happily answer.
