railroad line in Ga.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ACL and SAL Railroads Historical Society : One Thread

My question is simple, I am trying to find a site that shows, as in atlas form, all the railroad lines, both passenger and freight, in the state of Georgia at the present time. Thank You, Doug

Look up Terraserve and it will give you maps.

This post was recently on the SERails list. I hope it helps. I got this map and it's great!

>The Office of Planning has a limited number of Georgia Department of > Transportation's newly completed rail maps available for distribution. The map I shows all rail routes within the state of Georgia, as I well as their ownership. Also included on the map is intermodal information for the entire state. It shows the location of general aviation airports, air carrier airports, and military airports as well as the location of Georgia Ports Authority docks. Single copies are available by calling the Office of Planning at (404) 656- 5411. For additional maps, please contact the Georgia DOT Map Sales Office at (404) 65~5336. Regards, Danny Harmon Tampa
