What happens to the 'inventions' after the taping?

What happens to those wonderful 'inventions' after the show's taping? You must have a large warehouse full of mechanized wonders by now. You need either a museum or a traveling circus to show these inventions off to the public.

I hope that the teams have the option of buying the object. As they thought it up and created it.

Well, on an episode I have just seen during the context of it I remember Cathy saying that one team was using the frame from a previous challenge. So, they may just chop them up and throw 'em back in the junkyard. GO NERDS and MEGLOMANIACS! Down with BIA!!!

I wouldn't want to keep a giant piece of crap made in 10 hours from rusted, dirty junk, pay to ship it to America, and use my garage space to keep it, if it fits. Better to just cut off a small piece of it to keep.

I'd pay for the upcoming Hot Rods or the Muncher!

I definetly would not throw away the hovercraft that won. Wow was that a piece of nice work. Paint it, fix the raw metal, spend a little time on the seat, reenforce the skirting you would have you quite a nice peice of equipment. I could not believe what I saw them make in 10 hours. Amazing!
