DVD player APEX AD-600A

i read that the apex 600A can play any kind of cd-r.. my question is.. if i make a vcd movie by myself and been burnt on any kind of cd-r by nero 5 software.. is this mean that i will be able to play it on the apex without problems??...if the answer is no i c'ant.. so please inform me which type of DVD i can buy ??. thanks

There is no way you can be promised that a CD-R you burn will work on any player (even the APEX AD-600A, or any of the APEXs).

Because every CD-R is a little bit different, one brand may work while another may not. Your best bet is to try a brand and see if it works, if so then stick with it, if not try another brand -- the APEX will play VCDs on CD-R so you just need to find the type of CD-R that will work for you.

I've had no problem creating and viewing VCD's on my Apex player. No matter what type of CD-R media I've used (Memorex, Imation, TDK, etc.), the player has had no problem with any of them.

my apex-703 with 3 disc changer plays any cd-r media...also any cd- rewritables...
