The Home Depot near me in 'South' Palm Beach FL [yes, where the chads hang out], Has a big store made sign that says 10% off for 21-24DEC.
Went to Burger King for lunch and this location is having bingo every Monday from 9-10:30pm, starting 08Jan2001.

Perry, retailers nationwide began putting out "Sale" signs within a week of Thanksgiving, when it became apparent that their Christmas numbers were down from last year. I've heard reports of a 10 percent drop in holiday sales in some areas, which is nothing short of catastrophic in the retail industry. K-Mart was advertising some of its jewelry for 70 and even 80 percent off last week in the Northeast. I think a lot of stores are terrified of the inventory (and inventory loans) they might have left over after 12/25. Don't know about you, but I'm planning on stocking up on gifts and essentials in the after-Xmas sales, which should be enormous this year.
