transaction costs and human capital : LUSENET : Economic History (and Related Observations) : One Thread

What is the main disadvantage when a firm vertical integrates a another firm according to the integrated human capital; is it consistent with the culture and philosophy of the firm? What can one about this to make the human capital consistent? Doesn´t it make much managerial costs so that it is perhaps better not to integrate and does this decision depends on the amount of employees of the firm which is being took over?
