I rememer there was a post from a guy asking where to get lemon grass. He had had dishes in the Phillipines which were cooked with it and he was wondering what it was and if he could grow it. I corresponded briefly with him because I had a friend who knew what he was talking about because she was from the Phillipines. But if I remember correctly, he was getting ready to move back to the Phillipines and he may not be on this forum any more. Does this sound like the one you were looking for?
