28-135mm IS lens and EOS 10s/630 bodies

In the manual for the Canon EF 28-135mm Image Stabilizer lens it states that there is substantial image shake after shutter release when used in conjunction with EOS 10s/630/Elan bodies. Has anyone noticed any problems when using one of these bodies with this IS lens?

I have used this lens and the 75-300Is With a Eos RT which is basically a 630 with a fixed mirror There is no probs with useing this lens with these Cameras all the Manual means is when you take a pic or just let you finger off the shutter with out firing It The image will shake or shift as the IS turns off ..

But it wont cause you any problems its just to warn you it will do it and it does Do it Looks like it shifts one way or the other 1/2 inch at times when Is turns off but Pic come out sharp so thats all that matters

Rob is right about use of IS lens with the EOS 10/630/Elan. I have the original Elan and both my 28-135 IS and 75-300 IS lenses work perfect. There is a slight image movement, not a violent jerk, after releasing the shutter. Of course, this is the IS disengaging and has no influence on picture quality (plus you often take your eye away from the viewfinder after releasing the shutter and may not notice anything).

Hi, I've noticed this lens shaking with 28-135 IS on EOS 5. Recently I bought a new EOS 30. There is no more shaking problem! I'm sure that it depends by the body.
