Rich, I'm going to believe this is an essay question as well. How can one respond to a "why" question under the heading of "poll" when no A, B, C, etc. choices are given?

We're ALL biased. (It's a human thing; you probably wouldn't understand.)

And I don't think Uncle Bob is an asshole, even if I do disagree with his politics. He's one of the funniest people (at least in print) I've ever seen. (I'm remembering a thread on the other board some months back, "Your thoughts on suicide", and Uncle Bob's response was, "I'm against it". I STILL laugh loud and hearty over that one.)

But I have to wonder why, if you're so convinced he is, you can't post using either a familiar handle or your own name. So much for convictions, eh?

No Fan, there's a Yiddish proverb, "If all pulled in one direction, the world would keel over." I think you're confusing 'bias' with 'opinion' -- opinion is something one has when one thinks for onesself. Try it sometime, you might get to like it.
