Will That Be Cash, Or Debit

Seems we've taken to heart the well known slogan of "Don't Leave Home Without It." Except what we're taking with us when we leave home, is the debit, not credit card. A survey for Interac, shows debit cards have become the most popular form of payment for goods in Canada. Forty-two per cent of Canadians use debit cards most often, 35 per cent prefer cash. Credit cards are used most often by 21 per cent, while only two per cent pay mostly by cheque. Canada has the highest per capita debit card, and Internet use, in the world.
