A computer glitch prevented thousands of
Telecom Xtra customers from accessing
their e-mail on Wednesday.

An Xtra communication specialist, Mary
Parker, said one of the computer systems
failed, and the backup did not take over
delivering the mail.

However she said none of the messages were
lost, but were unable to be delivered.

Around 150,000 people were affected.
