i had found that the source vcd under the segment folder contain a dat file (item001), could it be this file had to be add with the source dat file(movie)

The items in the segment folder are the menus and such for VCD Ver 2.0 If you are going to copy a VCD I would make an image file and COPY THE ENTIRE VCD! Just draging a few items here and there just isn't right. =o\

Just copy the whole source vcd using CloneCD. Just follow the instructions and everything will work fine. The program will copy the image file for you, you don't have to do anything.
