goatsmilk cream seperator

i am looking for a cream seperator for goatsmilk. i can't afford a new one so i'm looking for a used one. if anyone has one they would like to sell please let me know. it can be manual or electric. thanks lisa

Lisa you might want to to post what area of the country you are in in case someone has one to sell. I got mine at a local farm auction. I think most all separators will work for goats milk. There was a posting on here not long ago about using the spin cycle in your washing machine to separate cream (won't work for me because I have a wringer washer). As I recall the idea was to put your milk in jars and line the basket of the washer with towels to cradle the jars. I think they suggested 5-6 jars evenly spaced. Afterall cream separators work by centrifical force....it might work....I don't know.

That was KenS. that suggested using the spin cycle on the washer. I would suppose that it would work fine!
