Help I need a book and I think the title is Pickles the fireside cat. I think it was an old book and is out of print. Possibly that isn't the correct title but it is a cat named Pickles. A childrens book? Thanks

I have the book, not in condition to sell, but I'll give you the info which may make it easier to locate. The name of the book is "The Fire Cat" by Ester Averill copyright 1960 Harper and Row publishers It's a "Weekly Reader Books" I Can Read book. I hope this helps. God Bless, Nancy

Hey, I hope you find the book. That used to be my favorite book when I was a kid and even had a dalmation named pickles after the cat in the story!!
