edgar allen pope does most definently represent the sadness of life today. he was always the first one to beat the crap out of the youngest and weakest in class. when his parents died when he was 3, he rejoiced, those were his happier days. and when annabell lee dies he was even happier. with knowing this, pope really doesnt represent sadness but great happiness, plus he had lots of money to get hokers and make lots of babies. peace
