Aren't Republicans the ones who are always saying they hate Democrats because they walk around with signs and participate in protests?

-- LOL (it's.the@hypocrisy.stupid!), November 24, 2000.

Stay home and LOL all you want.

-- kritter (kritter@adelphia.net), November 24, 2000.

Fear not kritter, that 'bird' don't fly no more.

That the Rent-A-Mob deal isn't strictly a Demo thing is kind of refreshing.

-- Carlos (riffraff@cybertime.net), November 25, 2000.

Some of the radicals over on EZ are talking about starting a riot if Gore does not concede after the vote counts are turned in on Sunday. If you are having a peaceful protest with signs they may mistake you for Democrats, and shoot your asses!

-- LOL (poetic.justice@for.morons), November 25, 2000.

I'll be at Broadway and 42nd street in NYC tomorrow at 1:00pm for the protest, along with my husband and children, our families and our friends.

Hope all who are able will join us.

Action speaks louder than LOL's words. ;-)

-- kritter (kritter@adelphia.net), November 25, 2000.

Hey, whatever turns you on! Doesn't bother me in the least. I just thinks it's funny that you are starting to sound more and more like the whining liberals that your crooked conservative friends are always ranting about. Hee hee hee hee!

Have fun! I'll be watching you on TV. Not a good idea to take your children, don't get yourself shot by redneck Repubs. :-)

-- LOL (kritter@liberal.republican), November 25, 2000.

Kritter-who got your claws? I thought you were done with this-this is what you said last week. I am sorry, but I think all you folks HAVE NOT READ all the court papers as I have, and you are believing bullshit rhetoric from right-wing thugs, and making up your minds based on heresay, READ THE TRANSCRIPTS-talk to your lawyer about them.

You heard it here first-The Supreme court will not overturn the Florida Supreme court. Storming buildings and intimidating vote counters-what a fucking bunch of shit-Compassionate conservatism? Give me a fucking break.

I hope violence DOES occur-not that I advocate it, but it will show that these fucking puritan right wing thugs are just that-thugs

-- FutureSHock (gray@matter.think), November 25, 2000.

>The Supreme court will not overturn the Florida Supreme court

FS, a lot of us didn't think that the SC would even hear the case, but they are. I'm learning never to say "never" in this weird election, especially since even some of the long time con law writers over at the MSBA Journal (Mich State Bar Assoc) were surprised.

-- (raven@never.more), November 25, 2000.

Erections? We don't need no steenkin' erections! FreeRepublic.com is happy to accept your donations to overturn this EVIL ERECTION! (Oops. Thought we were still talking about Clinton's Cock. That should read "eLections".)

-- (EAGLES UP!@yer.ass), November 25, 2000.

Kritter--

What exactly are you protesting?

-- Pam (Pam@j.o.e.), November 25, 2000.

I hope violence DOES occur-not that I advocate it, but it will show that these fucking puritan right wing thugs are just that- thugs

FS, I think you're letting your emotions get the better of you on this one. When terroristic violence happens, innocents are almost always injured or killed. That's not much of a trade-off.

-- Tarzan the Ape Man (tarzan@swingingthroughthejunglewithouta.net), November 25, 2000.

Pam, these are rallys to show support for Bush and protest against the biased re-recounting that is going on in Palm Beach county.

Future Shock: Last week I said I was feeling very tired devoting so much energy to this cause, and thought I would take a break from it, but I have been energized by my fellow countrymen around the nation continuing on. These are not violent protests. They are peacefull people standing around with signs.

I have read the Florida laws, which were just changed by the Florida Supreme Court, (who do not legally have the power to "legislate),and will be overthrown by the US Supreme Court, if not by the Florida Legislature themselves, as they are the real people who have that power.

"bullshit rhetoric from right-wing thugs" - I have my own mind, FS, and I always have. I make my own choices. I make up my mind using ALL forms of media, hearing BOTH sides of the story, and knowing what I want personally for myself and my family. Anyone using the mainstream media as their only outlet for information is NOT going to be informed on both sides of this issue.

We have video tape by two individuals who were at the Miami Dade protest the day they banged on the door and demanded to be let in. There was no violence, no beatings or "thug behavoir"...but the media still continues to say there was..or at least they started to say it yesterday...two days after the fact. It's an outright lie. These were people demanding to be present at the counting of votes there,...as is their right...while the democrates tried to hide alone behind closed doors to steal their votes. Surely you would agree that both sides should be present during this process.

Miami Dade had decided they would only recount the questionable votes from the districts that were predominately democratic, and not the districts were the large Cuban American population was. The cubans protested that if they were to recount these questionable ballots, it should be from ALL districts. At that point, Miami Dade chose to stop it's counting..because they did not have time to FAIRLY check ALL the questionable ballots. Would you disagree with THAT?

"I hope violence DOES occur-not that I advocate it, but it will show that these fucking puritan right wing thugs are just that-thugs"

Well, that's where you and I part company on this entire matter.. since I am convinced all can be done fairly, without resorting to violence. I'm far from "puritan" and I'm far from "thug"... and you know me well enough to know that's true. Well..these people who are protesting and rallying are me...nothing more or less. They're all just like me. They're just people who've had enough of this fraud.

-- kritter (kritter@adelphia.net), November 25, 2000.

Kritter, aren't you supposed to be out on 42nd Street?

-- (change@your.mind?), November 25, 2000.

I seriously doubt that was Future Shock. I suspect a troll. It sounded like something Hawk would write, but I really don't think Hawk would steal someone's handle. I wonder if OTFR could shed some light on this.

-- Al Gorelini (BigAl@the.enforcer), November 25, 2000.

That's tomorrow (sunday) at 1,..the nyc. I was in Trenton today. Sorry, I looked back and saw I wrote "tomorrow" yesterday. That was incorrect.

-- kritter (kritter@adelphia.net), November 25, 2000.

"since I am convinced all can be done fairly, without resorting to violence."

Then why did the Republicans send out the Cuban Mafia thugs to threaten officials at Miami-Dade? Why is Bush hiding like a coward while he sends all of his unscrupulous lackeys out to destroy the democratic process? Now he's even got that fucking spineless Bob Dole weasel out there cheerleading for hate and divisiveness.

Bush knows that this is wrong, but he doesn't want any of it to stick to him, so he sends out the losers who having nothing left to lose. Gutless, really fucking gutless.

-- (hypocrisy.the.norm@for.republicans), November 25, 2000.

Yep. That was me. Never post at 4 in the morning! It is no surprise to anyone who knows me that my anger can get the best of me. Tarzan is right-never advocate violence.

Kritter, I apologize for any way in which you were personally offended, but I do not back of from my thug statement. These thugs went all out to impeach a president for lying about a blow job, spending countless millions of OUR MONEY doing so. All this, when several of their leaders were adulterers themselves. pseudo-hawk is right-they are a bunch of hypocrites.

As far as the florida supreme court ruling, read my new thread.

BTW OTFR could not help here as I have dial up.

-- FutureShock (gray@matter.think), November 25, 2000.

There were no thugs. Just people. I'm sure, FS, we'll agree to disagree and move on. I just wanted to get the word out to those who were interested..that these rallys were taking place. I've said all I have to say, I really have no desire to argue points anymore, because we'll both agree...we'll never agree. :-)

And while we'll never agree on this,..we're still both Dead fans..:-) So..life goes on outside of politics.

At least we are paying attention, each in our own way, FS.

-- kritter (kritter@adelphia.net), November 25, 2000.

Pam, these are rallys to show support for Bush and protest against the biased re-recounting that is going on in Palm Beach county.

The recounted votes will be moot once the GOP Voter Fraud comes to court and the Florida tally is properly readjusted.

Will you please comment on your support of the GOP sleight of hand and dirty tricks as described in the link presented?

Will you still support Bush and the Republicans when they are exposed as cheats?

-- EnquiringMinds (WantTo@Know.com), November 25, 2000.

Hi Kritter--

I'd be happy to join a nation-wide protest in favor of recounting _by hand_ ALL of Florida.

I think it was a disservice to America that clear, uniform standards for hand counts in Florida were neither available nor thought of when this extraordinary situation became apparent. Ms. Harris missed the boat.

I also think it was unfortunate that Vice-President Gore's offer to drop all lawsuits in return for a hand recount of all of Florida was rejected by Gov. Bush.

I have no problem with letting the courts decide the issues. However, this was a unique time for statesmanship and grasping, gouging, roughshod partisanship ruined any chance of that happening.

-- Pam (Pam@j.o.e), November 25, 2000.

Pam, agreed.

-- kritter (kritter@adelphia.net), November 25, 2000.

I became a mobster today, I protested on the capitol steps of California. There were over 6,000 of us mobsters, we protested and made our voices heard.

Joe Loserman: Too bad you went on the boob tube and you made the stupid remarks you did about protesting. You ain't seen nothing yet!
