Who is she?

I'm looking for the name of a French female photographer who took up photography when she was middle-aged. She's very contemporary - I believe her work wasn't around prior to the 70's (at the latest) She works in black and white. She has one image in particular of a French laborer off-loading a carcass of beef from a truck in the Paris meat-packing quarter at dawn. Someone has suggested that her work is of 'workers of the world' - ring any bells?? Even if you can't help with the name, can you recommend any resources or sites that might help in my search????? Pretty Please???

I don't know the answer, but your question has made me curious - I saw your post on the OnLine Photography forum too. I have tried some search engines with no luck (yet). Where did you get the info you already have? Can you remember where you saw the picture? A suggestion - try posting your question on PhotoNet, if you haven't already, - maybe someone there will come up with the answer. Janice.

Try the links from Arnauld Brihay's website: www.brihay.com

It helps if you can speak/read French - I can't! Let me know if you find anything helpful.

Janice.
