You know, I invented the heart attack. I was twenty years old at the time and there was this old guy who was bothering me...

-- Al Gore (elect@me.at.any.price), November 22, 2000.

Originally the doctors were saying he didn't have one either, it was only after the surgery they did that they determined it was a "slight heart attack". Bush was only reporting what he has been told by doctors at that time.

As far as the guy who has had FOUR FOUR FOUR FOUR heart attacks I'll bet you were thinking he was the greatest guy in the world while we were kicking Iraqi ass.. or are you too young to recall?

Lets recap:

o The Bush administration (ex CIA chief Bush in charge) gives Iraq the "green light for an invasion of Kuwait" (the words of the conservative Washington Times, not mine);

o We go in and spend $BILLIONS$ on making Iraq a chemical/biological/radiological wasteland, but fail to remove the cancerous growth in Bagdad;

o We leave the failed legacy to the incoming Democrat, and blame him for the ongoing Iraqi conflict;

Now exactly what is it that we are indebted to Chaney for?

Q-mark,

Despite all that whatever before the gulf war, we are indebted to Sec Chaney for allowing the generals to conduct the resulting war in a fashion that spared American men and women their lives.

Yeah Unk, tell that to the 100's of thousands that are reporting Gulf War Syndrome.

What's next?

Bush camp hesitantly admits "Cheney now 'just slightly' dead"

FWIW,

A factory worker, whose first name is Carl, experienced two heart attacks several years ago.

He told me that he experienced this *heavy* feeling in his body so much that he had to sit down. He could not stand any more.

If anyone is experiencing sharp chest pains or know of others who are suffering these spasms, then PLEASE visit your doctor immediately!

God bless.

How could Cheney have a heart attack? He's a Republican and everyone knows that Republicans are heartless.

-- Lars (lars@indy.net), November 22, 2000.

ACTUALLY, it takes at least 4 and sometimes 8 to 12 hours to confirm heart attacks.

You confirm them with the rate of rise of 3 different iso-enzyme levels and how fast they fall off, as each has a slightly different curve. So, early on the enzyme levels looked REAL good, no heart attack....

8 hours later (after the angiogram and the angioplasty) they are a bit different. PLUS the angiogram would have shown occluded arteries.

Thus you get 2 stories. SHEESH.

NT:

When Bush said "He did not have a heart attack", he was aware that Cheney was having a stent inserted in his heart AS HE SPOKE but he did not volunteer this info. Lying sack of shit.

"I have'nt snorted up in 5 years. Uh, 10. Uh 11. Uh 15. Uh..."

And the proof for the Doubting Thomas'

"In late morning, Bush went before reporters in Austin, Texas, to say that Cheney was doing fine. He did not mention Cheney's surgery."

`Dick Cheney is healthy. He did not have a heart attack,'' Bush said.

I dunno' but having a stent inserted ain't exactly what I'd call "healthy" yet the man addressed the nation, looked dead-on into the camera, and willingly, knowingly and intentionally lied his ass off. Did he really think we'd never find out? Stoooopid move, Georgie Porgie!

Hey Lars, it's your favorite virtual nightmare here.

My mom had a heart attack in January, & they put in an umbrella stent at that time. By April it had snapped closed & grown scar tissue above & around not only it's own blood vesssel - but others {besides slacker me, we are over-achievers in this family}.

Would one of you big sweeties please lay out the official chain of Presidential command for widdle ol' me? { Not that I should worry my pretty lil' head about it!}.
