SAO PAULO, Nov 21 (Reuters) - The Brazilian
unit of world No.1 carmaker General Motors
Corp. is recalling 14,666 of its low-priced
Celta cars just two months after their launch because of a suspension flaw, a GM spokesman
said on Tuesday.

The glitch in Celta, which so far is only made
in Brazil and is the cheapest car there, comes
on the coattails of a local mega-recall of 1.3
million of another inexpensive GM model -- the
Corsa -- announced in October.

. . .

Design flaws have become a hot topic in the auto
industry in the past few months after a slew of
high profile international recalls by heavy
hitters, including Ford Motor Co and Bridgestone/
Firestone.
