greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

Pardon the laziness, but I just have been very busy, my oldest just left for San Diego (miss him already) and I havent been up to date on the happenings with the election.

Can someone give me a brief summary of where 'we/they' are?

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please serious answers only. (this is my LAST attempt at censorship, hee hee)

Sumer, the latest is Gore and Bush have decided to meet at Camp David this weekend. Anwar Sadat and Golda Meir have been selected as co- moderators. There should be resolution to this debacle come Monday, thank God.

A little grasss, some good scotch and our next president will be chosen. Insiders say it'll be rock, paper, scissor - best of seven.

In his best Don Adams voice: Would you believe, Yitzhak Rabin and Indira Gandhi?

Actually, I would enjoy watching Bush and Gore in the squared circle. Winner take all. Wave the three knockdown rule. Fight until one gives in. Let's see who wants it more, who's willing to place their life on the line.

Remember the first fight between Newman and Kennedy in Cool Hand Luke? Newman got his ass kicked but wouldn't quit. It was Newman's heart that won them over. I think both these "men" have pieces of coal where their hearts once abided. Cold, dark, shrunken organs, bordering on the vestigial.

Bizarro Rich

Bingo..LOL! Yer on a roll today!

How about some games that might actually help us decide...like, they should play a round of RISK, Stratego, and Monopoly.

Then..have them play one on one on Jeopardy..(which might favor Gore on hard facts, but Bush probably knows more trivia in general)..to give us an idea of their TRUE intelligence..

Finally, Poker..very important..Presidents must be able to call a bluff..and know when to hold them..know when to fold them..

Afterwards,..if we still have a dead lock..sure..let them duke it out like real men. Gore might be stealthier, but Bush has a John Wayne quality, he'll overtake Gore with bruttishness..like beating up some rich kid named Francis.

Just please don't let Don King get involved! :-)

The Florida Supreme Court has ruled that they both be dropped on Key West with nothing more than a loincloth and a pointy stick. The first one to make it back to the mainland wins.

Oh, if only, I'm Here.....if only.....

Like I said (what seems like eons ago)........

None of this would have happened had we all voted for Future Shock like we were supposed to.

Sigh.
