AMT Annual General Conference

greenspun.com : LUSENET : AMTNSW : One Thread

Congratulations to the executive of AMT for organizing such an informative weekend. The opening address by Nicholas Stepkovitch was particularly interesting and most informative. He spoke from experience and with passion, and certainly bridged any gaps that I had between Physiotherapists and Massage practitioners.

His words on Outcome based therapy were most inspirational and have certainly inspired me to pursue similar ideals.

Nicholas's address should have been a wake up call to all of us who are passionate about the benefits of what we do. We are Health professionals and should conduct ourselves as such at all levels at all times, and until we attain National competency standards as well as National unification we will remain in the limbo which we currently are.

This was my first Annual General Conference, and I have to say I will not miss the next.

Ditto from me about the conference - congratulations to the organisers, it was a great weekend, with a number of interesting components.

I really go mostly for the networking and AGM, but the workshops (especially the TMJ one) were really worth attending.
