Is God trying to tell us something?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

Everything happens for a reason. Here we are, a nation split down the middle, nitpicking at the details about who will be our president.

Can't help feeling that God is chuckling, because we are so close to the solution. Have we finally reached the time to unite, rather than struggle to find ways to continue to divide?

I think I would be happy either way... Gore as prez, Bush as VP... or Bush as prez, Gore as VP. As long as they could find a way to work together.

Compromise. No more divisions. Simply merge the 2 parties together and tell them to make compromises. Work things out, create solutions. When we ultimately all share this planet together, isn't it really the only solution that will work in the long run?

You know I can't see Gore and Bush working well together as a team. Can you? Who will be running things while they are duking it out over who gets to do this and who gets to do that?

"That's not the way the world works."

The world works the way we make it work. We can change it, whenever we want.
