vinegar making

ok, here's one for the vinegar Gurus out there. Bought some apple cider, non preserved, unpasteurized,,, let it go "bad",,, alot of mother (hopefully) has formed, smells like vinegar (must be) now what do I do?

I don't know about vinegar, but it sounds like how we made Hard Cider when I was a teen in New England. Maybe you could smuggle it to the "Pretend Thanksgiving" at Hoots!

Its vinegar. Draw it off and use it. I only make vinegar by "accident" when the wine goes too far.
