Removing glue

I bought a used scout shirt that someone had ironed the patches on the shirt. Any suggestions on how to get that glue off the shirt? DW

My son was in Tiger Cubs last year, and if the patches are the same as the type he had, a few good washes should do most of it...

Try taking an Iron and an old rag(towel type) place the item with the glue on an iron board, then place the rag on top, then place the iron on top of this heating up the rag hot enough to lift the glue from the bottom object. Sometimes it works quite well, I guess it depends what type of glue is on the clothing

I have some old mechanics uniforms that I use around here and the glued on patches and glue came off after a few washings and hairspray presoaking.

Try WD 40
