Hey Rolex, you sound like you are leaving the forum! Before you go, you might want to read the dissenting opinion of Supreme Court Justice Richard B. Sanders which includes the following comment:

IV. Conclusion I therefore conclude I-695 does not conflict with the text of the preceding constitutional provisions. The people have expressed their will that their tax burden be limited. The constitution does not stand in their way and neither should this court.

Marsha, thank you for your advice and your educated opinion, in this forum. This lone dissenting judge sounds like me. Too bad all the rest of the judges did not share his opinion. One last thought: Though the Supreme court threw out 695 and probably 722, Olympia "could" adopt them as law. Just like the 30$ tabs. A camel has the better chance of going through the eye of an needle, than a career politician, giving up even a little power to his constituents...
