Where in the world would you visit---that you haven't?--Al

United Kindom of course, because of my ancestry for one thing, also because we know two ladies in Britain and a man and wife in Scotland, with a trip to the Walking Naked lady in Ireland and maybe to see Writing Man in Somerset and Mavis Minge "ERM" and her new son Finn. As long as I would have to take along winter clothes there to be warm in the summer, might as well take arctic clothing and try to find Aet. Then hitchike back to Denver.

Note: Al your new server is in a land of confusion -- by the normal route they don't know you -- but I did a search on that same facility and brought your November 7th entry up right away. Never let the left hand know what the right is doing, yes ?

Well, I haven't been anywhere outside of the US (no, Tijuana doesn't count - you don't need a passport), and have barely been anywhere in the US, so the places I want to go are endless. However, the place I have been dreaming about most since a very young age is England. There are some main reasons. I think the biggest would be those four lads from Liverpool. I have been a Beatles fanatic since I could talk and to visit the places they kicked around in their youths would be fabulous. I am also a big theatre fan, and would love to check out the British theatre scene. I also feel I will love the weather. Yes, I happen to love gray & rainy. The other reasons are intangible. It's just a feeling I have that I have to go there.

A close second would be Australia. Ever since doing a report on it in 6th grade I have wanted to go. The recent olympics just strengthened my feeling.

AUSTRALIA. Hands down. Never thought I'd want to go until our recent houseguest and now that's the only place I want to go. Unfortunately it's about as far as you can get from here without starting to come BACK, so who knows if I'll ever make it, but I desperately want to. Specifically to Western Australia, which is even farther.

I agree with Bev. Australia. More specifically, Western Australia. Most specifically, Scarborough Beach, Perth, Western Australia. I had a friend from there that stayed with me for a year. He was there for my wedding, and the birth of my first daughter, and he always wanted me to go there. We were supposed to go for New Year 99-00, but since Jeanne was pregnant (Jessica was born Jan 4) we cancelled the trip. Just think, if we HAD gone, Jess could have been born in Australia.

I still hope to go, but as time goes by and kids get older, it seems less and less likely it will happen anytime soon.
