GAWS!...Can't **WAIT** for Wed. morning....the shit-slinging will finally be over....

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

As the last day approaches for the candidates to throw as much dogshit on each other as possible, I for one am GLAD it is almost over.

You know what I can't believe? How much this f*&king place sounds like the pre-Y2K debates...most people can only attack the opponent, not just stand up for their candidate.

24 hours and counting.....

LOL! Get the bottom of the screen:

"The other day I was thanking my good friend Former President Bush (or ``George'' as I call him) for pulling some strings to get my brother out of that Iran-Contra mess, and he asked me if I knew any hot technologies he could sink his Presidential Pension into. In my opinion, the smart money is on filters. It's getting so you can't read Usenet without seeing that ``Dave Jordan'' Ponzi letter followed by forty replies from dickless wannabes threatening to mail-bomb the poster's sysadmin for the ``innapropriate post.'' Of course, I personally have my staff of Elegant British Women pre-edit my .newsrc for me (God how I envy the British), but that option is not open to the unwired masses outside the Media Lab. ... "

heh heh heh. You gotta love this software and how it sorts categories.

I have actually enjoyed it, I have posted numbers, data, some projections, just like I did for y2k as "FactFinder". And what happens? The "nonamenoaddress" tin foil hat wearing fruitcakes start cussing and screaming at me. I love it, just like old times!

Actually David, I had you in mind when I said most people not ALL people.

Your lackluster opponents would be some of the "most people" I was refering to.

I'm just tired of all the negative. The shitslinging TV ads, the automated phone messages, the junkmailings, those ridiculous signs stuck all by the side of the road....

Makes you wonder when e-mail spam will become part and parsel of the politicians mudslinging bag.....

oops....maybe I shouldn't have said anything....damn!.....

Couldn't agree more David. Pre-y2k was a lot of fun and this election has been too.

Encores are going to be tough for this forum. Figure by Thanksgiving a lot of my friends (you included) won't find a reason to come back.

It won't be over, Codfish. After Wednesday morning there will be a new Reign of Error.

-- dinosaur (dinosaur@williams-net.com), November 07, 2000.

OY! If you believe the shit-slinging will end on Wednesday morning, you haven't been paying much attention to politics for the past eight years.

Especially if Gore wins, expect no let or lull. Shit-slinging has become a full time, flat out, full blast, tax-supported institution and the mainstay of Republican politics. However, with GWB'S proven liabilities, if he wins I expect the Dems to seek payback for Ken Starr's fishing expedition.

LOL, we ain't goin nowhere Carlos, we're gonna make sure Dubya is impeached!

-- Demos (dubya@will.hang), November 23, 2000.

Don't worry. Both parties have stored up enough shit to sling until at least next April, no matter who ultimately "wins." They have had to use up as much of their shitpiles as possible in the last two weeks, so they won't wind up with a shit-surplus on the books (forcing them to give refunds).
