19-35mm f3.5-4.5 lenses : Vivitar, Cosina, Soligor

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Photography Singapore : One Thread

Hi there, i need to get a 19-35mm wide angle lense with a tight of budget of $280-$330(max). I have found three lenses: Vivitar 19-35mm f3.5-4.5 ($280), Cosina 19-35mm f3.5-4.5 ($330), Soligor 19-35mm f3.5-4.5 ($280). I would be grateful if anyone can give me some comments on which is a better choice? Its a hard decision because they have about the same spec.s, it just whether which is a reliable brand.

i was told cosina lens are made from Japan and Vivitar lens are probably made from Korea. I found a camera shop at Lucky Plaza selling Cosina for $300 and i am getting it :)

$300 is a waste for a Cosina. It is cheaper at Fotoguide.
