Text of report in English by Bulgarian news agency BTA web site Kozloduy, 1st November: The 440-MW power unit two of the Kozloduy nuclear power plant was switched off from the national power grid to undergo repairs after a steam leak in the second non-radioactive circuit, the plant's information centre said.

The leak occurred on Tuesday [31st October] morning when the power of the generator dropped by 100-MW, the press release says. The leak has no bearing on the radiation and nuclear safety of the plant.

The unit is expected to be switched back to the national power grid on Saturday, 4th November. The other generating units work at a total combined power of 2,200-MW, the information office said.
