On the Attack

This Red Winged Black Bird attacked a Great Blue Heron that wandered too close to his nest on the edge of a tidal creek. He landed several times on the Herons back, grabbing a fistful of feathers before flying off. Quite a sight to see.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but we've only got your word for it that the blackbird was attacking the heron. There is nothing in the picture that bears this out. Apart from that, it's a nice picture of a heron.
