ABC AFFILIATE REPORTS ELECTION RESULTS IN CALIFORNIA -- WEEK BEFORE THE VOTE!

ABC NEWS affiliate KGTV in San Diego is reporting that Republican George W. Bush has won California with 70% of the vote -- one week before Election Day!

The station hit total embarrassment after the "results" were posted on the station's website, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

With 100% of all precincts reporting, KGTV declared Bush had received 8,201,951 votes to Al Gore's 1,757,561 [15%]. Buchanan had 5% to Nader's 4%.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein won reelection with 5,272,683 votes [45%] easily topping Tom Campbell 4,686,829 [40%].

The station did not return repeated calls for comment late Monday night.

Now if that ever happened (Bush takes CA), Barbra and the rest of her friends would be surely upset.

Yes. I am sure that Barbara Bush understands better than the rest of us how poorly equipped young George is for the Presidency. His winning CA is probably her worst secret nightmare.

I'm not so sure about her friends, though.

Brian,

There is another train of thought out there that Barbara is the prime mover behind George's bid. Something or other about dad's drubbing having fueled a sense of Vengeance.

Oedipus Tex?

Brian, Lol, You don't know the difference in Barbra and Barbara, do you? Or maybe you do and wanted to twist my statement around.

Maria, why don't you enlighten us, so we all can share the joke.

I'd bet my last toothpick it was a gentle twist, Maria.

LOL, flora. A few more like that one and I'll take back what I said about you being a brown-noser.

Lol Flora, I can see her now... long finger nails, perfectly styled hair, and profile nose. I heard something this morning about the princess. When she goes on tour, she informs her hotel management that the staff should never (ever) look her in the eyes. I wonder is that because they are crossed?

Bingo, you can keep your toothpick, :)

I thought Maria was talking about the old Bush hag too, and it didn't make much sense, but that's nothing new. She has so many problems with spelling, it is hard to know what she meant.

[He looks sheepishly at his feet and shifts back and forth.] Well... maybe... just a bit...

[He thinks: Damn! Busted!]

Just goes to show 3rdgrade.dropout you don't know much.

Maria--

"profile nose". Please, only the LEFT profile.

Why did the station report these results? On what grounds. Projections from polls?

NEWSFLASH!

It's in the bag, Gore has it by electoral votes.
