I am filming on in december and wanted to know if it is necessary to get adapters such as a Beach Tec XLR or if i can plug my shotgun mic from my boom directly into my camera minus the adapter? Just wanted to know if the voltage or system noise would differ greatly. Any experiences with either situation would be helpful. thank you
