MI: AT&T lists billing error

AT&T overcharged some of its Michigan customers
for local calls over a five-day period, the
company said.

Customers were charged long-distance rates for
local calls placed from Oct. 2-7, Pruyn said. The
mistake affects AT&T's local telephone service
customers.

AT&T spokesman Mike Pruyn said a computer problem
caused the errors. Customers who have incorrect bills
will have their bills adjusted within the next 30 to
60 days, he said.
