I'm looking for topics to do a research paper and/or case study on..... specifically HR in non-profits. Do you have any suggestions and/or past experiences you could share?

ex. how to hire and fire volunteers; how much are volunteers able to replace paid staff; what about unions and their impact on the sector; the HR pecking order, etc.
