Matthew 24:40-41 Clearly states

40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

Matthew 13:30 Also states

30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.'"

Weeds = Non believers Wheat = Faith based followers of Christ

Romans 2:7-8

7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.

No where does it say there will be any 'get out of jail card' once you have 'served' your time in the lake of fire.

Acts 13:48

48 When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.

This Not all those who had a change of heart once they found out how miserable things are in the lake of fire! But all those who believe NOW.

Now For The Clincher

John 3:36

36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."

No where does it say Gods wrath remains on him until purified in the flame.
