Is society to blame for our unhappiness or the beliefs and choices we make in our life?

Actually Mark, It is how you see society. It is a fact of life if you look for the "BAD" is society, the "BAD" will be there. I felt like you in the past. But I decided that when something or someone wanted to give me a negative attitude, I just walked away from them.

You must believe in yourself that "society" is working with you instead of working against you.

Food for thought: You become successful by helping others become successful!

Authors that I have listen to or read their books are: Brian Tracy, Harvey Mackay and Tom Hopkins.

Thanks Glen, I do agree with you. BTW I met Harvey Mackay at first I thought he was a wax model but then his lips and body started moving and it turned out that I found him to be one of the slickest salespeople I have ever met, well deserving of being a ringmaster. He knows where the human touch points are and instinctivley seems to know what humans do when you press them.

I asked the question because I have the notion that those who know the answer are more likely to know the answer to happiness. Most people want to search for happiness first without ever thinking about what it is that is making them unhappy.

In term of the homeless in my town it is societies policies that I blame, but yes, this is a deliberately loaded question because ultimately no matter how good or bad our life, our unhappiness as far as I am concerned is down to what we believe and the choices we make.

I was reading about Marshall McLuhan last night and someone wrote of him, his questions were better than his answers. I would like people to concentrate on this question, I think it will help them.
