Want to be a homestead intern?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I thought I'd see if there are any folks here interested in becoming a homestead intern. We live in an underground house in Vermont and have an organic CSA farm. You can see pics, look at links or read about our two internships on our web page. Wendy

Wendy,

This is a great idea. Loved your website! I've looked at the CSA website that lists internships, but I think it is outdated by a number of months, and the ones that are on there aren't in my area. And unfortunately, I am unable to move to Vermont at the present time :-( What I would really like to do is help out on a farm every other weekend or so to learn homesteading (currently I live in the city). If you know of anybody near Central Indiana who could help me out with this, I would appreciate hearing from you via email.

and your state organic farm organization....Organic Indiana http://birch.palni.edu/~mkruse/organic.html

I 've seen your website a few times - GREAT!! We've had lots of WWOOFERS stay at our farm in the past. Wendy- as you are quite the world traveler I can only say why not come and visit our farm in Italy next time you are in Europe!!
