Anyone know Final Draft 5.O really well?greenspun.com : LUSENET : What keeps you up at night? : One Thread |
I have a screenplay in Word, that needs to be formatted into Final Draft format so I know the page count. When I tried importing the document myself, as text, it made the screenplay VERY long, and mis-aligned dialogue and added spaces. I need someone in the West Los Angeles area to help me, teach me, or take the project and make it perfect! Please email to info@morezap.com. t

Michelle --Perhaps the Fast Company website is not the site for your technical questions -- a Word user group may be more helpful. But, I hate to see people struggling...
Go to Edit => Select all
Then, go to Format => Font (and make the text Times Roman or something that's on your system)
Then, select Format => Paragraph (and select your line spacing)
You may also need to re-assign tabs to get the indented spaces to align properly.
Hope this helps. --T
