Struck the motherload at a yard sale (misc)

Lynn went to a sale today , found eleven gardening , cook and home remedies books for fifty cents apiece. She's been wanting me to build a new bookcase, guess she hit the right button today. One of the books has a site similar to this at www.squarefootgardening.com .

We went to an auction like that a few weeks ago---got a box of cookbooks, a great many of them from Rodale publishing house. What I didn't want, my daughter did. We just had four left over without homes...I don't do French wine and mushroom cooking!

Just pulled into the driveway an hour ago with the carcase of a lawn tractor that I will convert into a pull behind cart for my lawn tractor. Curbside shopping is fun too!

Marty came home from an auction yesterday with a good rake, a cultivator, and a woodstove (in really good shape) all for $11 ! Too cool huh? We already have a woodburner....no; count that two, but the woodstove at the sale was only $5, can't pass that up, someone may need it later.

If we found a wood burning stove for $11 that would be the day we had $10. Ha! We've found a lot of goodies too! A few months ago I found one of the original FOXFIRE books for $4!
