I always enjoyed listening to Yardeni's T-X00 series on the internet. He was a gracious host and quite openly stated that the majority of economists didn't agree with his Y2k projections, and sometimes invited those folks to attend the series. In fact, in one series, he stated that he was studying chiropractic in case he lost his job over his Y2k thoughts.

OTOH, his choice of OTHER speakers in some of his series indicated that he was listening to folks who THOUGHT Y2k was going to be bad, and believed them. I, honestly, think he just listened to the wrong people.

Buddy, I agree with you. Yardeni would NEVER state that the economy now or in the future is/was the way it is/will be due to anything associated with Y2k.
